Molly was a good Christian And attended church events She always did her best to serve Where ever she was sent She’d go to all church socials Cause she knew the food was grand They say, Keep your fork with you, A fine dessert is planned. Molly thought about “Afterlife”, And what to do when she’s gone. She wrote it down in her will, She knew she’d meet Jesus soon. She ask for a polished silver fork To be place within her hand On the day she passed away, This, according to her plan Molly was not afraid of death When she made her last request Take heed of her good advice And you’ll surely be blest So when she was laid to rest Her message was for everyone, Please, Keep your fork with you, The Best is yet to come [This message has been edited by 2dalimit (edited 06-24-2001).] |

You've done a good job putting this story to verse, and getting the message across. Death's Fork in the Road is For-K-ingdom Come!Or should we say Kingdom Go to? Enjoyed it, David Every Day's a Blessing |

That is a really cool poem, at first I was confused where you were going with it, until the very end. Although I plan to bring a plastic spork because I don't use metal utensils to eat with anymore. ![]() xscoutx |
