When the wintry wind freezes the windows,
When the wick of the candle seems short,
Supplying the hearth with the splinters,
I draw in the warmth from the cinders,
And sit there reciting Your Word.

Master~
How very comforting to be quilted in His Word.

I like the imagery here, and the simplicity.

The warmth and beauty of the Word is unrivaled.  Great write.

How warm and comforting and beautifully written. No matter what befalls, be it the weather or storms of life, His Word prevails!  Ellie

When there is no light guide you,
When there is no window see through,
Look to His Word for guidance.

Master,

I really like the image your poem paints for me.  A room without warmth or light
and yet there are words in your mouth that give both.

Thanks for that great image,
Bob <><
