Peter... Weren’t you with them? No, you are mistaken! Didn’t I see you among the followers? You are mistaken, I do not know Him! You, you there! Weren’t you among the group? No, not I! You must have seen someone else! er,er,er,erooo er,er,er,erooo er,er,er,erooo I watched Him die! I saw the nails in His hands and in His feet. I saw the spear in His side. I watched them take Him down and prepare Him for burial. How can He be alive; and even if He were alive, how could I face Him after all I’ve done? How can I look at Him after denying Him three times? How? Peter. Lord! Peter. Lord, do not look on me, I am but a filthy rag, do not touch me I am unclean. Peter. Lord... Peter, do you love Me? Lord, you know I love You. Then feed my lambs. Simon, son of John, do you truly love me? Yes, Lord, you know I love You. Take care of my sheep. Simon son of John, do you love me? Lord, You know all things; You know I love you. Feed my sheep. . . and Peter’s tears were as living water upon the ground as Jesus touched him and raised him up unto His service © June 11, 2000 only that I was inspired to arrange it in this way...for most of it is straight from scripture: |

Peter is so us- or we are so much like Peter it is uncanny! But, the truth is if Jesus could take such a man and use him so mightily in the Gospel, and He not also transform some of us modern day Peters as well?? A good sharing here, David No Better Place do I know God Bless us All!!! |
