Virginia Salter People from all over find their way to praise Singing in their hearts until their voices raise. Smiles and concerns echo through the hall Waiting lives and wills answering the call. Expectations running high of what great work will arise How the Presence of the Lord will bring unity, its prize. Giving to the Spirit open heart and open mind His love, will and comfort unto each other bind. In the midst of wailing babes that may echo weary souls May our sinew that You bless exemplify and serve Your perfect goal. May the water that we find in the message of Your will Be hot with healing, with truth Your wondrous promises to fill May it cleanse our very beings a new creation the result That we may go faithfully forward serving You among the great tumult. We have come to You today with great wanting and unity To receive Your gift of living life in Your cool, refreshing sea. May we leave healed and empowered to bring Your love in word and deed As we walk away in sweet grace with Your lambs and sheep to feed. © June 3, 2001 |

I love how informative it is! The descriptions in the piece suit it very well. "The only thing that boggles the mind is the mind itself." |

VAS, Certainly sounds like Pentecost to me! All joined with one accord and ready to hear and feel the presence of a mighty rushing wind... perhaps the flood gates of revival are soon to be opened as well. This truly is a poem to make the soul shout and praise God. Bob <>< |

Have to agree with Bob on this one, beautiful piece to sing His praises. Bonnie |
