I feel i was on the cross next to Christ
the day he questioned his forsaken realm,
the day the blades grazed my sister's wrists.
In the name of three brothers, i pray
i beg forgiveness and something greater than understanding,
something greater than intravenous resucitation.

I've never believed that things happen
that rhyme and reason are pomp and circumstance
Instead, i seek divine purpose and strength
i seek family, God, fulfilment in these worlds.
I've sat through silent services
of vicious gods and their vengeful followers,
thankful for the knowledge
that older sisters, suicidal, are forgiven,
and not forsaken.

He will comfort you and He has your sister in His Loving Arms...count on it! Ellie

This is such a touching poem.  I do hope your sister is in a better place emotionally and can find peace.

May He ease your burdens and help you to find the right path.  Very sad writing.  Never lose faith, He is always there with you.  Always.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.
