Virginia Salter I stepped there into the sand, the warm, sun-bathed sand and felt the pebbles of eternity ground into crystalline memories of He, who surely walked, likewise, beside the sea thinking thoughts of harmony that would come from the gift of His very life. His living eternally to be the salve between our painful remorse and the healing provided through His stripes, His scars, the imprints of us all, there, in the palms of His hands, in the hole in His side, in the forever steps we’ve taken to mar the beauty of His feet, the thoughts and plans acted or merely dreamed- evident fully in the piercings upon His brow, the weight of our heartache and His own, upon His shoulders, as He walked the Way of Sorrows, with but one motive in His heart to provide a way for us to once again come to the Father, to commune, to live in His everlasting Love ©May 11, 2001 [This message has been edited by VAS (edited 05-12-2001).] |

For some reason the thought comes to me about the poem "Footprints." And this poem here making it as big and widely known as the Footprints one. Like I said, this is a thought that entered my mind as I read it. I don't claim to see the future. This was a wonderful poem!!!! |
