There are places and times,
when stillness is profound

A deep forest canopy,
on a midsummers morn.

A mountain retreat,
on an Evensong of fall.

Yet I have come to a place,
deep within my soul,
to a quiet not yet known.

A deepening of surrender..
Stillness

An intense Knowing,
that You are God.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

ellie:  It is such a blessing when you can feel that stillness in your inner being. Good poem.
