The birds are singing gently
As the leaves on branches blow
Nature is exploding
As I watch your wonders grow

Brightness of the dandelion
Against the grass so green
Splashed with rainbow tulips
Create your wonderous scene

The luscious smell of lilac
On the wind, come drifting through
I'm wrapped in the aroma
For it all, Lord, I thank you

I felt this one. I love the beauty of God's creation, and you put it in words as well as imagery. Soooo pretty!

What a realistic spring picture you've worded, even colored, into this lovely verse.
Thank you,

LOL thank you Songbird! Glad it could sing for you.

I'm glad you did Betty, thank you! It's been far too long since I've written anything worth it.

Thank you for sharing it with me Melton.
