High above the troubled void God’s Spirit brooded And peered into the sackcloth waters Intently watching there to catch his own sublime reflection Looking for a form, a regal face so very deeply Ordered with the pattern of the ages Underneath an endless Heaven filled with sacred song. Reverberating toward the churning chaos Came his holy living word, at last Realigning, touching, vivifying. Everything was changed, transformed and made And purpose in his sweetest light was found. Tell the Mighty deeds of our Creator Our redeemer who can make all things anew Raising us in Christ to realms of Everlasting Life. 7/2000 SDJ |

enlightening and powerful! Beautiful acrostic. A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Stephanos, Good job on the acrostic with a great message attached. It amazes me each time I think about God speaking all that is into existance from the void that once existed. When I consider that we are created in the image of God, how powerful must our words be as well. With Faith, I believe that We Can move mountains with our words...... Happy Easter. Bob <>< |

I really enjoy acrostic poems. They can be a real challenge to write... You did a beautiful job. Nicely done ![]() --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |
