I come here before You today
With knees bent I fervently pray
I close my eyes and open my heart
Strength builds throughout each part

I came here feeling the emptiness
Of living a life that was so remiss
Filled with the burden of sin
There just wasn’t a way to win

I ask your forgiveness now
Before You I meekly bow
Please fill me with Your love
Blessing me from heaven above

Thanks to you I walk anew
Fresh as the morning dew
For I have been born again
A living example for my fellow man

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

Blessed is your humility, and blessed is His Grace that makes new your soul. Ellie

Lone Wolf,

Your poem is wonderful.  I joined you my friend with a repentant heart and full beleif that God does hear and answer prayer... and I too desire and strive to be an example for my fellow man.  I guess that makes us family?

God bless you,

Brother Wolf

The door of faith is always open, and so very much needed during this time of our existance. Prayer - what power, what grace.

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.  This was a nice prayer poem showing the kind of attitude which God seeks & blesses. May we all be so humble & be so blessed.
