I try to telephone Heaven, Where so many of my loved ones are. The operator can't get through; The wires do not reach that far. Perhaps I will have better luck With this gadget I now own. For there are no long wires needed With my marvelous cell phone. You say the circuits are busy? I'll wait for a while, that's fine. I'll stay right here 'til you get through, And will keep an open line. Maybe God Himself will answer, And that would be better yet. Operator, please keep calling. I'll speak to anyone I get. Thank God, His line is never busy and He's always available by knee-mail, too. ![]() Rae |

I like this very much! It reminds me of a song I heard. I think it's called, Jesus On The Main Line. It says something about, Jesus on the main line tell him what you want. Once again you bless us with a great poem. You get better all the time. God Bless you this Easter and always, Deb |

Charmingly written with compassion and wit. What a wonderful gift. "I am not now that which I have been." |
