When we consider all the works in Egypt Land
Done by hands of angels at Jehovah God's command
As His children prepared their sacrifice in haste
For after "Passover" was no moment left to waste.

When we consider all the works that Jesus did
That in all books on Earth could God's message not be hid
For as on cross He hung our sacrifice for sin,
We are assured in Christ that a New Life will begin.

I sometimes let my mind wander imagining what if Jesus never arose from the tomb? How very different our lives would be. Thank you for retelling the promise of new life so poetically. Happy Easter.

Great poem for this special time of year. When we consider what Jesus did for us at calvary...
