There is a little brook,a lazy stream,
that through the meadow flows,
ever onward, never ceasing,
ne're a care for where she goes.

Serenity

Though winters frosty breath has blown
great branches in her midst,
mossy stepping stones tossed hither,
yet without care, she doth persist.

Fortitude

Thirst is quenched by Flora and Fawn,
these she nourishes at her breast.
So she nurtures all to flourish.
giving herself, ne'er doth she rest

Love

and when the rains, they do cease,
though her banks be parched and dry,
and but a meager stream be left,
soon filled by April showers sky.

Hope

So the effects of God's great Love
are ever faithful and true.
If we but have the eyes to see,
that all he promises, He will do.

Faith

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Well done, my friend!  You have written a pretty poem, and answered the challenge in your own unique way.

I love your imagery. Yes, GOD is magnficent and is everywhere. I am reminded of hoot_owl's, "I Asked For Inspiration".
Check it out.

I'm in love with the form you used.     Stand-alone words to seperate the stanzas reminded me of Cinquains that I used to write in grade school.  It worked out VERY well and you should be very proud of this poem.  It's quite unique, I love it.

I have to agree with Allan, the form was very complimentary and creative.  And the message was beautiful.

Ellie,

Though very natural in content, your poem is very full of wholesome imagery that is very typical of life......  In one way or another we are all streams that affect the lives of others.  You met the Challenge very well.  Bob <><
