Castles In Sinking Sand

Though strong winds blow the mighty deep,
God promises His Word to keep
Holding on to your reaching hand
Though your castles in sinking sand.

Though oceans rage as strong winds blow,
You will be safe on Earth below
For waves must stop at His demand
Though your castles in sinking sand.

Though walls may fall about your feet,
He's all you need for life's complete
Upon the Rock on which you stand
Though your castles in sinking sand.

Though your weary and spirit's weak,
Unto life's storm your Savior speaks
For Peace be still is his command
Though your castles in sinking sand.

Though storm has stopped and all is well,
The tides of sin with questions swell
How were you saved can't understand
Though your castles in sinking sand.

This is the perfect poem to start my day. My life right now is as these sand castles, but my heart and soul are built on solid rock, Jesus, my rock and my life. Ellie

Bob this is a great truth that I have learned. I have had the walls fall all around me, and if not for Jesus to keep me standing strong with him, I don't know where I would be.

Bob I'm going to recommend you submit this to the main site. I was going to recommend it to a few others as well, but my mistake, I thought the icon (link) was gone. (oh me)LOL

It's the yellow one with the blue arrow above. This was a beautiful and consoling piece. I hope you will submit it!
