in Your Arms forever more.
I dare not tread this path below,
too sharp betrayals stones.
too many losses of love are strewn
upon this ghostly, lonely path.

I am only safe here in Your Arms,
where there is finally security,
and the only trust I know.
A Love that will not leave me,
and a Hope of tender care.

For these past days my heart
has been broken yet again.
Why give me such a tender heart
if not to love another?
