I need to meet You somewhere Lord,
It's time for another talk,
I feel the walls are closing in,
Could we please just go for a walk?
The wind is blowing fiercely,
Snow's falling fast and free,
But I think if I go to the garden,
Your face, I might get to see.
I'll meet You by the roses,
There's one blossom refusing to die,
Maybe we could have a chat,
And You could explain to me why.
Maybe You could take my hand,
And warm my chilly heart,
Or embrace me with Your tender arms,
Before we have to part.
So I'll get my boots and parka,
And head right out the door,
I know You'll be in the garden,
As You've always been before.
And when I am once again inside,
My spirit will be repaired,
As I hold a beautiful winter rose,
Your sign to me that You cared.

Isn't the picture of a lovely and sacred friendship- a closeness that transcends the external distractions--so that the internal beauties and realities might be realized>
This is simply lovely!

Very lovely thoughts portrayed here. He is one date that won't stand us up. He is always there waiting for us in that garden of prayer.

Bonnie, this is so moving and real - that's where I feel God - in nature, in the garden. No structure could better reflect His glory!
Lovely!

Bonnie how exquisitely lovely. We are nothing without His Love.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Bonnie the end of this just made it perfectly beautiful!

I hope that walk
and little talk
brought your spirit rest.
Because you're meek
took time to seek,
guidance from the best.

Beauitful poetry of love and friendship.
His hand is the one we long to hold. His promise to never leave us is one I claim, and I know he is there for you too.
Hugs,

Bonnie,

It is wonderful how you have set your garden apart as a place sacred unto the Lord...
and I love how He spared the single rose to teach you and us such a valuable object lesson about how much he truly cares for each one of us...  and I admire how you have made such an effort to be in that place where you know He will always be even in the midst of winter's storm.   Lovely symbolism,  Bob <><
