~Dear Lord~

Dear Lord, I’m sorry for the wrongs I’ve done,
And I continue to do,
God I thank you for sending your son,
And I pray that I will be able to live myself for you.

Lord I know that I have, and will, slip up
Because I always do,
And when I do I feel like a helpless pup,
I just pray that you will help me to trust in you.

Lord I love you so much,
And I know you love me too.
And with just a single touch,
I’ll be in heaven with you.

Welcome to the Spiritual side of Passions.
I'll let you know that I checked out your poetry in Teen and foud it very heartfelt and honest in nature. I do like how you write somewhat free verse.... more interested in your heart being expressed than the structure of your poem. Having said all that, I know that this poem comes directly from your inner self and I know that the Lord has read the letter from your heart and that the Lord is now smilimg upon your life in forms of friendships, inner growth, and prosperity. Keep up the good work and again Welcome,

Welcome to Spiritual! This is very humble and heartfelt. God knows when we're sincere and tells us he shall remove our sins as far as the East is from the West.

I hope we'll get to see more from you, this was a wonderful read in it's honesty and sincerety.

I sure can relate to your nicely worded work! We all foul up and would sink in hopeless despair if it weren't for God's forgiving grace. Prayers for wisdom and strengthened faith come only from one who's developed a humble, trusting heart. Bless you and thank you for sharing this. Rae
