When God said,"Let us make man in our image" And, "It's not good that man be alone," He created us as social creatures Giving us families wherein we belong. For "No man is an island" Interdependant are we, How much we need each other Kindred ties of blessed Family! It's during this time of the season A time opportune we've been giv'n, To rekindle warm bonds in the family And to excercise quality livin'. Thank God for "The Family Plan" And for tender ties from above, As part of His Perfect Gifts Indirect expressions of His Love. God bless you, Father's and Mothers And Brothers and Sisters, too, And God bless us in our Families Tahnk God they've been given to you! You must have been inspired by my family portrait.... Just Kidding. Yes, this is a huge part of the holidays, getting together with our families be it natural or church. It seems half of the family today that my children claim as thier relatives are not related in the natural realm at all... they are just real good friends and I do thank God for them all... including you my poetic friend.
