This is my first song of praise to God. Well, I'm a Christian, so I've praised him before, but I've never gotten around to composing some lines to praise him. I hope this works out! Break out the trumpet Break out the horn! He who will remove our debt Comes with peace to adorn! Sing to him in the highest Sing to him in the lowest! He comes to clean our mess'd Up lives, and to give us rest! He will wash away our sin He will cleanse our crime! He knows the heart deep within, He knows our lives are slime! But he has come to take away All that junk and sin and pain! So from the mountaintops, say "Hozanna, praise to His reign!" And on that final day, Do not weep on Galgatha Hill! But praise the man who will pay That price we deserve still! Amen |
