November wind on my naked face
Bringing shivers down my spine
And a quickening of pace
Marks the begining of winter
when the snow will soon fall
A beautiful white covering
that will soon cover us all
Hiding the grey of the land
In a blanket of snow
to keep it protected and safe
till spring lets it go
Enjoy the beauty all around
That is God's grace
A Monet in white
upon a startled face
So listen for the song
of a November wind
A song in the color of grey
heralding winter to begin

This is a very beautiful poem, "a Monet in white", That line, among many of theselovely lines, is exquisite poetry. ellie

Thank you for stepping back and looking at a distance at the beauty a new snow can truly bring. Like with a Monet, one needs to step back and view the art at a distance to step into the true beauty his masterpiece has to offer. God Bless You, Bob <><
