In the quiet
streak of light
across the dawn
of dark of plight
comfort breathes
a trace of pine--
company~
water's wine...

and quiet thunder
in the hills
like laughter rolling
in the still
of a mind
caught in a trap...divine...

enraptured, knowing:
"this is mine..."

Hauntingly lovely in every way. Ellie

I really like this
The title grabbed my attention right off the bat.

I am always moved by the still of an approaching storm.  Storms are so representative, I feel, of God in His immensity of strength and power.  Bob <><
