I've planted the bulbs, deep in the earth for next spring. I could feel Springs hope, though winter is surely near. So His Hope lies in our hearts. le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne con-nait point....the heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of.. |

Ellie, The life that lies dormant in a bulb is very much alive and awaits to burst forth from the soil in the appointed time. The hope planted in our hearts also brings forth fruit in it's own season. Good analogy in this thoughtful tanka.
