Soon we'll all be gathered 'round, With family and friends nearby Ready to carve the turkey, And pass the pumpkin pie, And while we're all together, We will bow our heads in prayer, Thankful for the little things, Thankful we're all there. So, a holiday challenge.... A prayer, prose or poem, Share your special thoughts with us, In our poetic home. It's almost Thanksgiving, share a prayer or a poem, either of what you are thankful for now, or maybe thanks, for memories of past thanksgivings. I will share with all on here, A wish for health to one and all. May happiness each day appear And rise you up, each morning's call. To be alone, I can't in mind. Too hard for me this year, to stay. So I shall go and spend my time With passion poet, Thanksgiving Day. No one sweeter than she, could be, I'll travel at least 2000 miles. In face of friendship, and comfort's plea, We then will share the first, our smiles.
