Somewhere... out there...

This was actually written several years ago while I
was attending a christian college in tennessee.  On campus was a small garden called the, 'garden of prayer'.  it was beautiful, and it inspired this poem.  hope you like it.
____________________________________________

joyous music fills the air-
a bird joins in the song
a flower grows-
a tree stands tall-
a chipmunk scurries past
love travels in on
    butterfly wings
to dry the tear
    from my eye
'tis peaceful here
in this garden of prayer-
all worries are cast aside
and when i return
    to the world outside
my burdens
    i'll carry no more
for my Father
    will take them from me
i have only to let them go.

Sounds like a beautiful place vl, and you have written well of it.  And a great message too...if only I'd remember - to just let them go!!!!  Thanks for this, Bonnie

Oh, Vicky~
This is so pretty and brings about a feeling
of peace and serenity.
I've visited those special gardens and have
yet to not feel the calm overtake me.
Isn't it nice that someone thinks to set aside these
lovely outings for our minds and spirits to commune.

Beautiful, my friend.

Vicky,
A place of peace and quiet contemplation, communing with nature about you, what a wonderful place to talk to God. Reading this poem left me with a serene calm, and a soul smile. Bless you for sharing this!

Vicki,  It certainly shows in this poem that you found the senerity and peace you sought. It leaves me with a defining calm and peace.  Sweet, sweet loving poem to Jesus.

Glad you shared that part of you and the Bible College, that was a dream of mine at that age.  Marcy
