A Living Prayer Written by Janie Mathis Within your womb, where I lay Already know your voice And your thoughts, hearts beat in time Please let me be your choice I’m alive, a tiny soul I live within you now If you wait, one day you’ll see Though now you wonder how… Wonder how you’ll make it work Or how you’ll care for me How you’ll live from day to day Lost in humility Don’t you know you’re not alone? Not only is there me But my Father loves you so His love will set you free Time within your womb is short Against the years not run Bring the days I’ll walk with you In laughter in the sun I can’t speak; my voice is meek I pray unto your soul Make your choice to give me life And God will make you whole |
