To stand rooted in reality,
& seek truth unwavering
wherever it may be.
is my prayer daily.

To shun the lure of fantasy,
and escape the temptations
of I and me & all
the grandiose things I wish
I could be.
Is my prayer daily.

To see things as they are
and not as I wish or want them to be;
to rise every morning with thoughts
uplifted, pure and free, to
judge every man, woman, boy & girl
as I would judge me.
Is my prayer daily.

To be a good steward of that
with which I have been blessed,
understanding that I own nothing
since I came naked
and shall depart thus.
Is my prayer daily.

To be capable of love
without agenda,
to forgive hate and choose
not to remember,
to deny fate and walk in
the ever burning glow of faith.
To greet each sunrise & each sunset,
with the peace that passeth all
understanding & walk through
life content without demanding.

Is my prayer daily.

YeshuJah*)

I join my prayer to yours here in this incredible poem. You have written the perfect formula for happiness and joy. Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

This is absolutely perfect! I seriously hope you will go back and mark this one for a book submission??  PLEASE?

I needed this one, and need to read it again and again. I shall do just that, come back to this everyday! I can't say enough for this poem and it's message!

For every season there is a purpose...

You've reiterated this quite well.  Thank you!

To all, thanks for the kind words.  I do appreciate it.  Please forgive my late replies.  I am the father of a six month old baby girl and between work, her and being a husband, I get precious little time for myself.  We also have two boys aged 11 and 15. QUite a handfull.  But JAH has been good to us, HIS NAME be blessed forever more ALL Men.  Again thanks.

Whtdove, I'm not sure I know how to follow up on your suggestion, but it would be a pleasure.  Thanks all.

How inspirational.  This shall be my prayer as well, and how wonderful if all of mankind prayed the same.  I agree that this should be in the book.  Linda

Go to the top there and click on the little pad with the pencil on it...the edit icon.
Then right under your name and password there is a box asking if you'd like to submit this for the book. Check the box and then click on the submit button!  That ought to it.  I'm not sure if you'll be able to edit yourself or not. If not let me know and I'd be happy to do it for you!

Only a truely sincere soul could pen such a masterpiece of true devotion to the Master, giver of "the ever burning glow of faith."
Excellent! Hala Yah! (Praise God)

Tiuch, thank you for the vote of confidence.  You are right.  If all of us sought this path, life on this planet would be a better place.  Thanks for reading.

Whtdove, I submitted this poem as you requested.  Now let's see what happens.  I'll have you to thank either way.  Thanks for your help.

Chaplainscott.  I'm not at all sure about being a sincere soul.  Truth is: if I had to judge my self, I'd probably be more lenient than I should.  Also,it is written: he that says he loves me but doeth not my will is a liar and the truth is not in him.  It is doing that counts.  One could be sincerely wrong.  Thanks for reading and commenting on the poem.
