Love is patient, kind and true Never angered, proud or rude It does not envy, does not boast But always perseveres with hope. Love keeps no records of our wrongs Rejoicing in truth, singing a song never self-seeking of His worth Always offering Life's New Birth. Love is gentleness and peace All of these shall never cease Slow to anger, self-controlled Tugging gently at your soul. Love is Jesus sent from God Protecting us with His strong rod Love reaches out to one and all Against such thing there is no law. Love never fails! |
