I understand this might be a controversial
subject, I'm bracing myself...

WEEDKILLERS

To eat your apple an spit out the seeds,
that's natural.
To water, feed and love a little apple tree?
Irrational!

Who has the money, the time and the desire
to grow an apple tree,
and let the poor thing suffer from polluted air or nuclear disease?

So mercifully kill that weed, it feels no pain,
as most enlightened people say.
They do not wait until the law says it's a tree,
for then, it's killing, no longer surgery.

Postscript:

When little trees cry silently in agony unseen,
God sees and hears and will remember, forever,
the gardeners and their choices,
of life or death...

Oh...I do not agree with this one at all. Life is life.

Willem, this is a wonderful metaphoric work - It says much for a little apple tree...

I think I was a weed. Sure glad no one killed me!

I'm afraid a lot of Eve's today want their
apples back. Too late...

Thank you all for your courageous responses,
whether PC or not! I hope to get a lot more.

Everything is alive, so I understand where you are coming from on this one.
Why not a little apple tree?
