Alone At Last by ©Richard Budig Alone together, at last. Years of being stuck at home. Kids. Bills. Drudge jobs. And then, somehow, we wangled time off together and went to the mountains, to a little cabin on a stream. It was good, just you and me. I couldn't contain myself, couldn't keep my hands off. Eventually, we made love, and when we finished, you said, "There . . . is that how you like it?" in a voice like sand against glass to which the only answer seemed, "Gee, I guess not." |

------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |
