Desperate Place

Sometimes from
a desperate place
drawn from the strength
of a soul's survival
comes an answer
to a question
that was never formulated

Not to answer
would cut the quality
of some grand design.

And it would go unnoticed
on any ordinary day
would not ache to be
answered
would slip unnoticed
fine as dry leaves
in a pavement crack

You tease an explanation
from a question
that was not there before
your interpretation

listen

I agree with Scott......this one makes you step back and take a breather to think a bit. Not a bad thing at all
