MY BELOVED
Her lovely charms display the humble splendor
of pearly sea shells on a windward shore,
a fragile beauty, simple yet sublime,
in gracious and serene surrender
to swirling tides of water, wind,
and time...

O Lord, let me surround this precious woman,
this gift from You, with love and happiness,
and let us graciously surrender, together to
the swirling tides of human destiny,
the ravages of age, and then
Eternity...
