One woman, "victim", abuse; physically, emotionally, mentally; The hurt, feelings, memories that never leave, never fade; Thousands of women, victims; physically, emotionally, mentally; Who take the blame and low self-esteem that "one" man can do, no remorse given; Society, it's a man's world, caring for the moment, uncaring in too short a time; Leaving "one" woman, alone, with the hurt, feelings, memories that never leave, never fade; All the woman asks is justice, help, love, friendship; ALl the woman asks is justice, help, love, friendship; Thousands of woman ask the same; "help us," "understand", "feel the pain" Walk in our shoes, judge not as two seperate pairs, but joined in one. ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. Echo this piece speaks volumes for abused women. Let it be known that it is not a man's world but our world together. It is not the pain but the joy of love we want them to feel. Abuse is a sickness. For the men that are sick I hope that they seek help. Not only for their victims but for themselves as well. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- Shoot for the moon. Very well done, I really enjoyed it. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
