He told her "I love you," but she was not his
He has another at home, wondering tonight where he is.

He's out with her again
He's laughing, she's crying
After fifteen years, she's given up on him
He's living, she's dying

They say everything happens for a reason
And time heals all wounds
But heartaches seem forever
And heartaches don't heal that soon.

I very much appreciate what one has to say.
I try and write just what I'm feeling at the
time so you'll probably notice somewhat of a variation with each submission.
