The Riddle by ©Richard Budig 1999 Reconcile today with tomorrow And the riddle of the universe unravels But today unmasks only yesterday And keeps tomorrow hid away Such is the way of hearts and days Yesterday’s secret and hidden heart Beats away for all to hear today But simultaneously guards forever All of tomorrow's little terrors |
