Have you ever thought of how Time is rather strange? Each minute may last just as long But somehow it seems to change. A month seems like forever When it's something to live through For a long awaited meeting And a chance to talk with you. But that same time would fly by If I knew that at its end I would have to say farewell To a trusted friend. The earth's turn on its axis Isn't dependent on one But when you're gone the clouds come out And drift across my sun. I guess that what I'm saying Is that you are greatly missed. I know I said it badly... Still I hope you got my gist. |
