The Who is clear, The Where is there, And mostly we know How. We are the What. We know the When, But we need to know somehow. So we ask with fisted hand Outstretched to the sky, We know most of what our questions are Which only leaves the Why. Why us not them? Why here not there? Surely God will know. Why now and not some other time? Why do we come and go? It leaves us all to pause and think And scratch our head and cry. Why did God give us all the answers Except for the reasons why? ------------------ Once I was brilliant, now I no longer shine, but the twinkle in my eye speaks of another time. |

RS, I enjoyed reading this poem. I don't think we'll ever know the answer to the question it asks! ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |

Exceptional, Robert. Loved the message, especially the ending. Michael |

Wonderful RS. I have come to the conclusion that the why is unimportant. It is in the getting through that the power comes. |

RSE... If we knew all the answers, the game wouldn't be any fun. This was a really great read. Reminded me of one or two of my own. Like the style. |

I've always said, there are some things we just were not meant to know |

There has been several times of late that I have asked this very question myself but I still don't have the answers. I just have to believe that everything that happens, is the will of God and try to accept it. What has caused the cloud between you and the Son, that keeps you from shining? MOM |

The funny thing is - When we find out the reasons Why - We immediately ask... Why Not? |

I really like how you took this idea, and made something very thought provoking and beautiful...the "whys" that haunt us. For everything there is a time...our lives, the seasons....we just have to go with it, and trust that someone up there knows more than we do....and does what's best -- ------------------ - - - If I can just touch you once, then I feel I have accomplished what I am called to do....- - pFF |
