Point of Origin I can not tell you where or when this fire of ours started; or how you warmed this soul of mine, so cold and broken hearted. I can not say what caused the spark that soon became a flame. The time or place that it began, I can not really name. Was it when I first heard your voice fall softly on my ear? Or, when looking in your eyes I saw our love reflected there? Could it have been when we first kissed on that November day? Or, the first time you held my hand? I can not really say. Amazing how a spark can grow so quickly to a fire; and friendship grow into a love; and love into desire. No, it matters not where it began, but only that it ends in a fire of love that started with a spark that we call friends. ------------------ Alis volat propriis (She flies with her own wings) |
