The Enemy Is Me |

On the field of battle, I have met the enemy- And I found to my amazement, that the foe I faced was me. The one who has betrayed me, and made me but a slave- Is the one into who’s face I look, each time I go to shave. His pride has brought my downfall, more times than a few. And hastened situations when the outcome I forenew- The things the fool has made me do, is nought but a disgrace I’ve often cut my nose off, just to spite my face. I’d like to turn the thing around, I fear it’s far too late- I have dashed in, where angels feared, and often tempted fate. A mournful dirge, borne on the wind, with time I've come to see.. I’ve met the foe, who laid me low, the enemy is ...ME! |

It is never too late to turn over a new leaf or learn a new trick my friend. It is the in the wanting that the magic is found. Happy hunting my friend. |

Knowing thy enemy is half the battle... exploit his weaknesses... be strong where he is weak... And you shall prevail. Anyone who writes as good as you, can't be as bad as you write. How's that for ambiguity?... LOL! [This message has been edited by Andrew Scott (edited 11-17-1999).] |
