Roads I do not hold grains of sand Time trickles through my fingers Just as it always has Nor can I unchain these Mysteries presented Clandestine they remain Rainbow colors Out of gamut of vision Are as invisible to me as you What strengths do you wish upon me? I’m just like you, finding my way Lost sometimes, like now A message replicates in my mind Its beacon signal beckoning Incessant musical scores Strange new avenues at every turn Every corner transforming Nameless native lands Tow, tug of tomorrow Gravitational magnetizing Planetary providence While you turn inwards A secret box with no sides No openings at all Expecting me to find you © 1999 Corinne Bailey |

You don't sound lost to me? Love the last stanza and the imagery. Well done ------------------ Through poetry my heart and soul truly sing... ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |

Corinne, A question in a question is to much for me. But I did enjoy the poem, well done. |

I agree with Isis. Favorite phrase is the last stanza! ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |
