My faith in us is lost for allowing us to hurt each other without trying I'm so right to love you but I should have respected me more but I don't know how... And that's my fault because if I didn't care you would have no power over me and I wouldn't want to ease your pain? And with one single action we cause tears to fall like winter rain our hearts shreds into pieces likes leaves falling off a tree in Autumn When one brushes them up you'd never know they'd even been there nature allows trees to grow more foliage come the spring... It wasn't just the leaves that got brushed away but my faith and the goals in life that was important to me! How can two people destroy each other when so much in love? Because I do love you from tip to toe from yes to no... ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. This is so true, Rainbow. The only power people have over us is that which we allow through our caring. Sometimes the power is used lovingly.....and sometimes not. Like my grandma used to say..."A woman's love is like the morning dew. It can just as easily settle on a horse's ass as a rose." I wish you the latter, not the former. |

Geesh, Lovey... I'd forgotten that... *G* I'm on the carpet in a meeting trying to justify my existence, and there's a nekkid angel hiding in the potted plant! LOL. Bal: If only we were a rose being loved each and every day...but I do remember how they smelt, all 12 of them and how beautiful...must be what they're grown in.. learn to respect yourself which is more important. when were in love we tend to forget that we come first. But we really do RG. I know what you're going through...the only advice to give is to always keep your mind busy...before you know it the pain will ease. You need a friend and I'm here. I'ts my turn to help you now. you know my email. Til then turn that frown upside down ! love you. |

Ouch, this is very painful, Rainbow. "How can two people destroy each other when so much in love?" That line struck me in particular...it's so disheartening to see that happen. You've expressed ambivalence very well here. Good poem... Michael |
