I believe this post created enough conflict, therefore....voila!

wow, this is really good. It would be my guess that you find the good and the bad in every relationship, no?

Enjoyed the read. I try to stay in balance, but sometimes the scale tilts but not to far.

I loved this poem
Very well written
But girls, don't you think he needs a set of "The Rules"?
And I believe in equality, too, but the fact is my husband changed one diaper in his life, and I changed 40,000 ( calculated this one day)while working full time and taking classes. But come time to change a lightbulb, if I don't do it myself, it's a "PROJECT". I liked the poem a lot, gunslinger, but the equality part, I don't think so

It definitely works both ways...

God took Adam's rib
and fashioned little ol' me.
She made me 5'2"
from my head down to my toes.
She said anyplace that Adam went ..
I could surely go.

I have no vain illusions
that men rate the #1 slot.
I'll give it consideration,
but ... I have a hunch
the answer will be ... NOT !

It's serving you well and often,
and expecting that you
carry your fair share -
exactly like I do.

Just so you don't
get the wrong idea,
I like the man who knows
how to fall to his knees and admit,
he just might appreciate me,
a tiny little bit.

Trust me, love,
I know my place.
It's standing by your side,
not 'in-your-face' !

Now I'll throw
the ball back to you ...
I know MY place and duties.
Are you sure that you do?

Smile
And remember- you said
God didn't make me
a bonehead !
And, you're right ... She didn't !

I feel I owe an apology here, I brought this poem that was here up from the lower pages because I felt it was very well written with an interesting message and now it's been removed by it's author. I guess maybe I should have left a sleeping dog sleep where he was comfortable. So sorry if I caused a mix up, not intended at all.
