The Way It Is..

Oh yes, they have their memories..
and they linger day by day.
Of the times they come together,
knowing it shouldn't be this way.

There were no conditions,just a
need that they both have.
How could any thing so beautiful,
ever be considered bad?

Sometimes two hearts, will beat
as one for a time.
Their path of destiny briefly left,
as two souls become entwined.

The emptness is now filled,
and the void is filled with light.
But it is only temporary, as they
hold each other tight.

No love words are ever spoken,
though there is love inside.
The obligations that claim them
for now is set aside.

Their bond can not be broken,
though binded they'll never be.
But their passion for each other,
still rages wild and free.

So every now and then, to another
realm they will fly.
She whispers 'I love you' to him
after he has said goodbye.

Now the waiting starts all over,
for another chance to be with him.
As she waits, her heart aches for
her lover and her friend!
