So kill me then
she says
my hand locked
around her throat
like a leech
clinging to its host
Okay responds
a cheery voice
that is my own
yet not
Hellish glee
lights
my maniacal eyes
reveling
in her submission
hand tightens
around
ivory white throat
dispassionate smiles
tug at my mouth
with her every change
in ever-purpling hue
lifting
her off the ground
adds speed
to the chameleon change
of color
she goes through
her body's convulsing
and silent plea
extinguish rage
and falling away
I look at these
killer's hands
sobbing wracks me
as I become
what I despise
Her hands cradle
my tremulous head
rocking me
into desperately
needed peace
easing me past
another fit

This is a work of fiction meant to show the depths of Intermittent Explosive Disorder. Please view it as such.

Disturbing -- but then, mental ilness does that, doesn't it? A chilling and apt description, my friend. The clarifier was a wise precaution.

I am glad you clarified its origin, Scott..it is very well written, flows well and the frenzied loss of control is reflected in the short lined form. Good work.

Really like this one alot!! Maybe it explains the anger I feel lately and I don't know where it comes from.

Brilliant - tightly controlled piece I feel - it leads the reader tensely to the conclusion.
