Soft As A Kitten ... Courage Of A Lion ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 It seems that things are not always as they appear. Cruel thoughts brushed away, with only the slightest tear. Seemingly a kitten in disguise. A roaring lion I see ... when I look in the mirror that's what looks back at me. So even the cruelest hearts can hear the lion's roar ... When cornered in my heart I cry out no more. I'd like to think this is my 'other' personality. The lion's courage to protect the kitten in me. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I like this....I think it's kind of cute, though I don't think that was what was meant...The phrasing just sounded very cute to me. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
