Two strangers meet along a path, In differences they did not lack, They could have passed each other by, Instead they thought it worth a try. His shyness for a while prevailed, Until his shell she had assailed, He opened up in time, and then, Tried not be like other men. At times they fought but made up soon, He acted strange beneath the moon, But now they are too far apart, And it is breaking both their hearts. Three months is coming very near, And to his heart she has grown dear, Tomorrow brings another day, And in his arms he hopes she'll stay. |
