The Time Lord

The corridors of time I've traveled,
Many are the secrets I've unraveled.
Throughout all the endless passages of time,
Twisted and convoluted as some mad poets rhyme.

Past, present, and future, all are one,
In the nexus of time all can be undone.
With a wave of my hand or word from my lips,
Into the endless void your entire world slips.

You think I do not deserve this ungodly power,
Perhaps you'll even remove me from my tower.
If you fail don't worry about the cost,
Because everything you knew will be lost.

With all this magic in my hands,
I could destroy all evil in the lands.
The same goes for those that are good,
Or don't you feel that I should?

You must strive to understand,
It matters not where you stand.
For this I can never be blamed,
The balance must be maintained.

It's fantasy. But if it contains a piece of me doesn't that make it as real as I am?
