Silver snowflakes gently cascade, Resting upon boughs of emerald. Sunlight slowly begins to fade, And starlight shimmers gold. Gifts wrapped in gleaming paper, Placed beneath the Christmas tree. Santa's coming, thats for sure, For I've been very good, you see. The lights twinkle within the night, Glowing in a holiday rainbow. The reindeer now begin their flight, Dancing through the falling snow. It's time for bed, time to sleep, For I hear the sleighbells ringing. Hush now, do not make a single peep, Do you hear the angel's singing? Quiet now is this weary land, Resting 'neath the fallen white.
