chopping my fingers off,
one by one....
Taking away my ability to write,
my best futures in drawing.

A needle sewing my mouth shut,
forever,
so that I can’t give loving words.
So that my ability to help is taken away.

Blood floats as my mind is going blank,
a river of not pain, but confusion and despair.
The best of me taken away,
what’s there left to love exept low selfesteem ?

Dear, Dear, I so hope these are not thoughts about yourself.  Would Jesus die for someone unworthy?  You bet!  Not one of us are, but try to imagine how awesomely great His love for you is to die your death that you might have eternal life.  How can you have low selfesteem, when you are so loved?

I beg to differ, Anette. It is not the worst poem ever written. I'm sure everyone here is claiming that title for at least one of their own poems! Valkommen to our home.
