I aloft in my own place temper the cause for flight dusting slowly of myself yet still I echo larger wings beat too high fling myself to tatters and recover through a touch of garden lush Can a wisp of lifebeat possibly know sunlit skies for long? Could I flight sifting of myself unhurried weaving to the pulse of normal life? ...not what my wings were born for... A wingflit out of time I fly a wandering creature searching for petalled rest yet too sensate of mystery for flowered peace I unchained defy the living of my kind 23.12.99 ...I am not a painter, I am a poet...
