The seconds feel like minutes, Minutes feel like hours, And hours feel like days -- It just seems to drag on -- Longer and longer. How long will I have to endure this feeling? This pain in my heart -- This emptiness in my soul? The days turn to weeks, Weeks turn to months, Months turn to years -- But I still mourn for what could be -- It goes on and on. If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

I don't know the answer but I do know the feeling...I guess for me, laughter helps and you find yourself laughing amongst people here on PIP...just can't be helped, either that or you find yourself crying for someone elses sorrow and then your own seems so minute.. May tomorrow be all that you wish for and more besides! HUGS Yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream... |

Yes, Rainbow, you are so right, you do find yourself laughing amongst the members of PIP. For that I am grateful! Thanx for the kind words! If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

Yes, it does seem like minutes, hours, days, months and even years but once you get over that someone and allow yourself to breathe you shall find happiness once more! Starboards "I wont look back, I wont regret, though it hurts like hell someday I will forget" |

Thanks Denise! Star, Yes, I agree and I am trying! Thank you. And by the way, I love your quote...I'll have to remember that one. If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

Time can seem eternal when it's filled with pain, but things always lighten up when hurts are shared with caring friends. Once beyond, in retrospect we know nothing lasts forever. Nice poem. |

Well, I hate to say it but as long as you feel it "could" be, you will mourn it. It will hurt till you let go, which I know is not an easy thing to do by any means. ((HUGS)) to you. Michael |

Sometimes it seems the time stands still and yet again -- it seems like a lifetime ago. The human condition. How much more grievous are the consequences of anger than the causes of it. -Marcus Aurelius |

Time does seem to drag on if you're bored out of your mind. I like this because I can relate. --A Little Fairy-- |

I suppose its all a matter of degrees... the depth of your fall is half the distance you must climb. Note: A second is officially defined as the duration of 9,192,631,770 oscillations of the radiation emitted by a cesium 133 atom when undergoing hyperfine transition at zero magnetic field. Oh... and a "jiffy" is considered to be 1/100th of a second. That's over 900 billion oscillation per jiffy. Considering that, have ya ever known anybody to really be there in a jiffy?
